Sara Barreda Capafons

Sara Barreda Capafons has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. SARA began their career at La Caixa as a Bank Officer in 2008. After that, they worked as a Tax Advisor (Scholar) at IberAudit MRM Audiconsulting Group from 2009 to 2009, where they gained experience in tax preparation, settlement, and representation in tax administration procedures.

In 2010, Sara worked as a Corporation Tax Campaign Assistant at Ernst & Young. SARA then joined BMN as a Commercial and Bank Teller in 2011, where they achieved sales objectives and performed cashiering duties.

From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Junior Tax Advisor at Crowe Horwath, where they prepared closing reports, settled corporation tax and income tax, and addressed requirements and queries.

Following this, they worked at Consultoria Eugeni, SL as a Tax Advisor from 2013 to 2015. Their responsibilities included preparing and presenting different taxes, managing accounting and billing, and representing clients in tax administration procedures.

Since 2015, Sara has been with Captio, first as a Finance Manager, then as a Finance Manager at Emburse (Captio acquired by Emburse). In these roles, they have handled accounting and tax management according to regulations, improved accounting processes, and been responsible for accounting closing.

Throughout their career, Sara Barreda Capafons has gained valuable experience in finance, accounting, tax management, and customer service.

Sara Bareda Capafons has a strong educational background in finance and economics. In 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Financial Management & Controlling at IEBS, focusing on finance. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Taxation at UPF-IDEC in 2009, specializing in taxation. Their undergraduate education includes a degree in Economics which they obtained from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Sara has also obtained a certification in Finance and Accounting Principles from eCornell in September 2021. This certification further strengthens their knowledge and skills in these areas.
