Paul Rivard

Paul Rivard has extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance industries, having held senior leadership positions at several notable companies. At EMC Life from October 2020 to September 2024, Rivard served as Executive Vice President Chief Growth Strategy & Innovation Officer and Senior Vice President Chief Risk & Experience Officer. Prior to this, Rivard was with Munich American Reassurance Company from July 2014 to October 2020, where roles included 2nd VP Underwriting Client Solutions, focusing on high-value distribution and underwriting solutions, as well as 2nd VP, Underwriting Marketing & Strategic Client Solutions, which involved developing customized solutions aligned with industry trends. Earlier career experiences include Regional Underwriting Manager at RBC Insurance and Bilingual DI, CI, Life Underwriter at Canada Life. Rivard holds a degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Windsor and education from College Mathieu.
