Janet Liu (Zhijun)

VP Of Quality And Reliability at Emcore

Janet (Zhijun) Liu has a diverse and extensive work experience. Janet (Zhijun) started their career at Motorola in 1992 as a Quality and Process Engineer and worked their way up to become a Manager. During this time, they gained expertise in quality management and process improvement.

In 2002, Janet joined Motorola Broadband Communication Sector (formerly General Instrument) as a Master Black Belt, managing the training and certification program for multiple Personal Communication Sector business locations. Janet (Zhijun) played a key role in project selection, mentoring candidates, and personally leading Black Belt projects.

Janet then moved to Motorola China in 2006 as an IT Account Relationship Manager. In this role, they were responsible for systems and applications development, including implementing a global traceability system and warranty data analysis.

In 2009, Janet joined Motorola Mobility and took on the role of Director, Customer Quality for the Greater China region. Janet (Zhijun) established a regional quality review board and introduced a real-time product launch quality monitoring system to improve overall customer satisfaction.

Janet's last position was at EMCORE Corporation, where they held the roles of Sr. Director of Quality and Reliability and VP of Quality and Reliability. Unfortunately, the duration of these roles is not provided.

Janet (Zhijun) Liu obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Optical Physics from Shandong University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, from 1989 to 1991.
