Melissa Appleton

Melissa Appleton currently serves as the External Communications Head for US Corporate Communications at EMD Serono, Inc., a position held since May 2014, with a focus on External Communications and Media Relations since 2017, and previously as a Senior Manager in Employee Engagement and Internal Communications. Prior experience includes managerial roles at Green Room Public Relations and Edelman, as well as earlier positions at GCI Health, Fleishman-Hillard, Delphi Corporation, The Henry Ford Museum, and Hospira, spanning various aspects of public relations and communications. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Communications from the University of Michigan, completed in 2007.
