Yasemin Begum Alankus

Yasemin Begum Alankus is an accomplished professional in the field of immunology, currently serving as Operations Manager at EMD Serono, Inc. since August 2019. Previously, Yasemin held the position of Scientist in Cellular and Translational Immunology at Merck KGaA from July 2017 to August 2019. An extensive academic background includes a PhD in Immunology obtained from the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry, where enrollment in the Fast Track PhD Program took place from 2012 to 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Boğaziçi University, completed in 2012. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral research role at Klinikum rechts der Isar and an internship at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center.
