Donna Knudsen, Psy.D. is a seasoned clinical psychologist with extensive experience in trauma treatment and psychotherapy. Currently serving as Core Faculty at the Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy at Loyola University Chicago since May 2015, Donna designs and presents webinars on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and provides consultation for psychotherapists in advanced psychotherapy certification. In addition to this role, Donna is the President and Clinical Director at Deep-Waters, where a private practice focuses on treating adults and couples while facilitating Daring Way™ workshops based on Brené Brown’s curriculum. Since 2005, Donna has also been a facilitator for the EMDR Training Institute. Previous experience includes serving as a licensed clinical psychologist at Delaware County Psychological Associates and as an adjunct professor at Immaculata College. Donna earned a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago Campus, from 1990 to 1995.
