Patrick Munro

Patrick Munro, CFA, is an experienced finance professional with a strong focus on energy trading and asset management. Currently serving as Vice President of Trading at Emera Energy since October 2008, Patrick manages the Northeast physical trading team and oversees a term portfolio. Previous roles at Emera include Natural Gas Trader, where responsibilities involved daily cash trading and structured deal valuation, and Natural Gas Scheduler, optimizing transmission assets. Patrick also contributed to energy trading and asset management by developing financial models and strategies to maximize revenue. Earlier experience at AMD involved significant process improvements in product qualification and collaboration on product development, alongside a solid educational foundation with a BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
