Michele Peveril

Michele Peveril is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability, corporate governance, and strategic relations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Sustainability at Emera since September 2022, Michele has held various roles including Director of Corporate Governance & Audit at the Port of Halifax and Special Projects in policy and capital projects for the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation & Infrastructure Renewal. Past positions also include Managing Director of Special Projects and multiple roles within the Halifax Port Authority, demonstrating a strong background in public affairs, communications, and strategic management. Michele's educational accomplishments include certifications in Internal Audit & Risk Management from the Institute of Internal Auditors, a Leadership Development Program Certificate from Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University, supplemented by diverse ongoing executive education.
