William Szubielski

William Szubielski is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Emera since October 2022. Prior to this role, William held multiple positions at Emera Energy from October 2011 to October 2022, including Vice President of Legal & Regulatory and Legal Counsel, where responsibility included providing legal advice for natural gas and power marketing and trading operations. Earlier in their career, William practiced as an Associate at Stewart McKelvey from June 2008 to October 2011, specializing in tax and corporate/commercial law. William holds a BCL with Distinction from the University of Oxford (2009-2010), a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University (2004-2007), and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Dalhousie University (2001-2004).
