Taylor J. Hochuli, PhD has a diverse work experience. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Lifeguard at the Central Bucks Family YMCA. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Lambrecht Group at the University of Pittsburgh, crafting an interface between two quantum chemistry programs using Python under the guidance of Dr. Daniel Lambrecht. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Millstone Group at the University of Pittsburgh, synthesizing and characterizing mixed-metal alloy nanoparticles with NMR spectroscopy, working on the assembly of nanoparticle superlattices, and collaborating on development of high-quantum-yield photoluminescent alloy nanoparticles under the guidance of Dr. Jill Millstone. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher in the Nuckolls Group at Columbia University, investigating the assembly of inorganic superatomic clusters into larger, functional structures under the guidance of Dr. Colin Nuckolls. Currently, they are a Scientific Developer at Emerald Cloud Lab.

Taylor J. Hochuli, PhD received their High School Diploma from Central Bucks West High School in 2012. Taylor J. then attended the University of Pittsburgh, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry in 2016. Following this, they attended Columbia University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry in 2021.
