Corporate Talent Acquistion at Emerald EMS

Jenn Marr has a diverse work experience in human resources and talent acquisition. Jenn started their career at SIG SAUER, Inc. as a Human Resources Business Partner, where they worked for eight years. In this role, Jenn partnered with HR, management, departments, and stakeholders to implement HR initiatives and manage HR-related issues. Jenn also served as a talent acquisition strategist, benefits administrator for new hires, and oversaw staff and leadership development initiatives.

After SIG SAUER, Jenn worked as a Senior Recruiter at Direct Capital Corporation for one year. Jenn led the development and launch of strategic recruitment and proactive sourcing strategies, ensuring compliance with local and federal standards. Jenn also assisted the HR manager in processing payroll during absences.

Jenn then joined Rockingham County, NH as a Human Resources Generalist, where they provided support for HR functions and programs for 750+ employees. Their responsibilities included recruiting and onboarding, benefits administration, and training. Jenn built relationships with managers, staff, and candidates to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Following their time at Rockingham County, Jenn worked as a Contract Recruiter at RiverWoods at Exeter. Jenn managed nursing recruitment processes and designed proactive sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates. Jenn also implemented improvements to staffing processes and attended job fairs and college networking events.

Next, Jenn joined Rockingham County, NH again as a Recruiter. In this role, they led the sourcing, interviewing, and recruitment of candidates at all levels, using various tools, networks, and social media platforms. Jenn improved recruiting strategies, provided strategic guidance, and attended job fairs and community events.

Jenn then worked as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner at Highliner Foods, where they spearheaded talent acquisition and full lifecycle recruiting processes. Jenn developed creative sourcing strategies, trained hiring leaders on interview techniques, and accurately assessed and engaged talent.

After Highliner Foods, Jenn joined 1A Auto as a Senior Corporate Recruiter. Jenn partnered in leading all aspects of full lifecycle recruiting, managing relationships for various types of roles. Jenn developed initiatives to drive awareness of the employer brand, implemented marketing strategies to attract candidates, and collaborated with marketing to improve the careers page.

Currently, Jenn is working at Emerald EMS as a Corporate Talent Acquisition professional.

Jenn Marr has an Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Northern Essex Community College. Jenn also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Southern New Hampshire University. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained a certification in Learning LinkedIn Recruiter from LinkedIn in January 2022.
