Shawn Kitchen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shawn began their career as a Draftsman at Westek Development, LLC, where they worked on a range of surveying and land development projects. Shawn then joined EQT Corporation as a GIS Technician II, where they contributed to various departments by creating shape files, drawing files, and PDF files for coal companies. After that, Shawn worked at USA Land Services as an Independent ROW Acquisition Agent and GIS Specialist, handling ROW acquisition and GIS mapping tasks. Shawn eventually joined Emerald Energy and Exploration Land Company as the Chief Information Officer and GIS Director, where they focused on improving processes and systems, leading the implementation of a company-wide ERP system. Throughout their career, Shawn has demonstrated expertise in GIS, mapping, and project management.
Shawn Kitchen is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at Southern New Hampshire University, with an expected graduation year of 2025. Shawn previously obtained an Associates Degree in Engineering Technology and Computer Aided Drafting from KCTCS in the years 2005 to 2006.
