Oz Erickson started their work experience in 1979 as a Principal and Chairman at Emerald Fund, where they held these roles until the present day. In 2003, they also became the Chairman at the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association, a position they held until 2006.
Oz Erickson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Harvard University from 1967 to 1971. Oz then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1973 to 1975.
