Stacy Shoemaker Rauen has an extensive background in design and journalism, with over two decades of experience in the hospitality sector. At Emerald, Stacy held the positions of Senior Vice President of the Design Group and Vice President of the Hospitality Design Group from March 2018 to July 2025. Concurrently, from March 2002 to July 2025, Stacy served as Editor in Chief, as well as in various editorial roles at Hospitality Design. Additionally, Stacy co-founded Bump Water, an innovative venture that operated from January 2013 to June 2019. Stacy earned a Master's degree in Magazine Journalism from Northwestern University in 2001 and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution in 2000.
