Richa Batra, MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the edtech sector and corporate leadership roles. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Emerge and a Board Member at New Futures, Richa has also held senior positions at Anthology Inc, where the startup business was scaled significantly, and Chief as a Founding Member. Richa's previous tenure at Blackboard involved overseeing large teams and developing strategies that enhanced user experience and operational efficiency. Earlier career highlights include a transformative sales director role at the American Society for Training & Development, where a strategic shift to a consultative sales approach was implemented, and foundational experience at Nordstrom. Richa holds an MBA in International Business from The George Washington University and a BA in Communications from the University of Maryland.
