Soumitra S. currently serves as an Advisory Board Member and Investor at ADAS Safe since February 2024 and holds advisory roles at JourneyTrack and Ren Energy, both since September 2023. Since 2018, Soumitra has been a Board Member and Entrepreneur in Residence at The Idea Village. Additional roles include Board Observer and Investor at Obatala Sciences and Limited Partner and Venture Partner at Elevate Capital Fund, where collaboration focuses on sourcing investment opportunities and conducting due diligence. Soumitra has also been Interim CTO, Advisory Board Member, and Investor at TrayAway since July 2019. Prior experience includes positions such as Engineering Leader at UiPath, Co-Founder and CEO at Kanari Digital Inc., and various leadership roles at Microsoft, where significant contributions were made to Power BI, Windows Phone, and SQL Azure. Soumitra holds a Ph.D. from Tulane University, a Master of Science from the Indian Institute of Science, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University.
