Amy Cervantes possesses extensive experience in education and student support, currently serving as the Manager of College Success for EMERGE Fellowship since June 2021, where responsibilities include creating and coordinating programming for approximately 400 college-age scholars. Previous roles include College & Career Readiness Advisor at Houston ISD, where Amy assisted 12th-grade students in college and career planning, and served as Retention and Completion Specialist at KIPP Houston Public Schools, organizing college completion workshops and advising alumni. Amy holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Sociology/Anthropology from Lake Forest College and a Master's degree in Public Administration and Policy from American University.
