Carlos Romero is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in veteran innovation, entrepreneurship, and consulting. Currently serving as the Defense, Dual-Use & Veteran Innovation lead at eMerge Americas and as a Venture Partner at The Veteran Fund, Carlos previously held key roles at The Veterans Trust, where responsibilities included Program and Marketing Director, and co-founded Vetted Studio, a boutique professional services firm. Notably, Carlos established the veteran entrepreneur ecosystem in South Florida through VETPRENEUR, mentoring over 70 startups while organizing numerous networking events. With a background in various industries, including hospitality, automotive, and agriculture, Carlos holds an Executive MBA from FIU Chapman Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Psychology from Albizu University.
