Luis Garcia is an accomplished finance and operations manager currently serving at EMERGE since March 2022, where previous roles included coordinator in the same department. Prior experience includes working as a barista at Barbarossa Coffee Roasters and a childcare worker at Campus Kids in early 2022. Luis also contributed as a Food & Leadership Fellow at Urban Roots and gained legislative experience as a public law and policy intern at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and as a CHCI Congressional Legislative Intern with the U.S. House of Representatives. Luis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations & Global Studies and Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
