Wild Animal Initiative
Erin Bohmbach, MBA, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Finance Operations Coordinator at Wild Animal Initiative, where responsibilities include bookkeeping, financial tracking, and hiring support. Previously, Erin worked as a Financial Specialist at Marsden Building Maintenance, supporting the SVP of Finance and Administration while managing projects and administration. Erin's background includes significant administrative roles at Marsden Building Maintenance, where contributions included planning the organization's first virtual conference and co-creating a safety committee. Erin holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Leadership and Change Management from Hamline University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the same institution. Additional early experience includes roles at Target and maurices.
Wild Animal Initiative
Wild Animal Initiative fosters the development of an emerging academic field dedicated to understanding wild animal welfare. We conduct original research, connect academics from diverse disciplines, and hold calls for proposals to fund the most promising projects. We are a fully remote organization. Wild Animal Initiative is a 501(c)3 non-profit based in the State of Minnesota. Donations are tax-deductible in the United States.
