Fred Blind, MD, CPE, FACEP has extensive work experience in the field of emergency medicine. Fred is currently the Medical Director at Emergency Resources Group as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University. Previously, they served as the Chairman Elect of the Lakeland Regional Health Emergency Department and also held roles as an Emergency Physician and Assistant Medical Director at the same institution. Fred has also held positions at Envision Physician Services and EmCare, where they served as a physician. Dr. Blind has been involved in leadership roles such as Chair of the National Clinic Advisory Board for Emergency Medicine at Envision and Co-Chair of the National MIPS/Tier 1 Committee for Emergency Medicine. Fred has also served as the Medical Director of Winter Haven Hospital Emergency Department and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida. Their earlier experience includes working as a Chief Resident and Resident Physician at Shands Jacksonville Medical. Fred Blind, MD, CPE, FACEP completed their education at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2004. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2000, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, General at the University of Florida. In March 2021, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) from the CERTIFYING COMMISSION IN MEDICAL MANAGEMENT INC.
