Deanna Werklund, MBA, ICD.D, is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member for WEDO Canada and the Calgary Counselling Centre, and as President and CEO of Emergenetics Canada Inc., Deanna has a proven track record in strategic partnership development, as demonstrated during tenure at Empowering Minds and the Foundations for the Future Charter Academy. Deanna has also contributed as a Council Member for the Premier's Council on Alberta's Promise and held advisory roles at the University of Calgary. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Queen's University, specialized training in doing business in China from CEIBS, and ICD.D accreditation from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
