Boris Ionin

Boris Ionin has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and research sectors. Boris is currently employed at Emergent BioSolutions as the Senior Director of Vaccine Product Development since November 2020. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of In Vivo Testing at the same company from April 2019 to November 2020.

Before joining Emergent BioSolutions, Boris Ionin worked as the Senior Director of Nonclinical Research at DynPort Vaccine Company LLC from October 2015 to April 2019.

Boris also has previous experience at Emergent BioSolutions, where they served as the Director of Project Management from July 2014 to October 2015 and as the Director of In Vivo Testing from December 2005 to July 2014.

Boris Ionin started their career at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research as a Principal Investigator/Research Microbiologist from September 2001 to December 2005.

Prior to their role at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, they worked as a Toxicologist at Technical Resources International, Inc from 2000 to 2001.

Boris Ionin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Life Sciences from the University of Maryland in 1992. Boris later received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the same university in 2000.
