Vinod K Kala has a diverse and extensive work experience. Vinod is the Founder and Director of Emergent Ventures India Pvt Ltd, a leading player in sustainability with a global presence. Vinod has also been a Director of Emergent Ventures International Pte. Ltd., providing strategic direction for the company. Additionally, they have served as a Director at RE Force Management Services Pvt Ltd, a renowned advisory services firm in the Renewable Energy industry. Vinod has also held a leadership role at SRF Ltd, where they were responsible for strategy. Furthermore, they have been involved with various not-for-profit organizations, such as the Environmental Resources Foundation, where they served as a Mentor. Lastly, Vinod has been a Director at India E Mobility Finance Initiative, a project preparation and financing facility in the EV space, in collaboration with renowned organizations and supported by Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation.

Vinod K Kala completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur from 1978 to 1983. Vinod then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad from 1984 to 1986.
