Sofiya Joseph has a diverse professional background with experience in corporate engagement, research, and education. Currently serving as an Associate and previously as an Analyst in Corporate Engagement at Emergent since February 2022, Sofiya evaluates ESG profiles and conducts detailed analyses of sustainability data. Prior experience includes leading the Law and Policy team at Rainforest Partnership, where responsibilities involved assessing ESG frameworks and managing a team of interns. Previous roles also encompass research analysis at The Harris Poll, business development at Wiley-Blackwell, and editorial positions at The Minetta Review. Academically, Sofiya holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from New York University, where involvement included teaching and mentoring first-generation students and conducting archival research.
