Benjamin Williams

Operations Director/director Of Clinical Operations at EmergeOrtho

Benjamin Williams has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Certified Athletic Trainer from August 2002 to June 2008. Benjamin then became an Athletic Trainer in a Physician Clinic from June 2008 to February 2012. Benjamin transitioned to the role of Clinical Informatics Manager at EmergeOrtho Triad Region in February 2012. Benjamin was responsible for all clinical informatics-related activities and advising the CEO on informatics initiatives. From March 2013 to February 2014, Benjamin worked as a Medical Records Manager at EmergeOrtho Triad Region. Currently, Benjamin holds the position of Operations Director/Director of Clinical Operations at EmergeOrtho Triad Region, where they are responsible for operational oversight and strategic planning. Prior to their roles at EmergeOrtho Triad Region, Benjamin worked at Campbell University as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer from July 1999 to July 2001 and as an Assistant Athletic Trainer from July 2001 to August 2002.

Benjamin Williams earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sports Medicine from Guilford College, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Campbell University from 1999 to 2001. In addition to their academic achievements, Benjamin has obtained several certifications. In 1998, they became a Certified Athletic Trainer from the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOCATC). More recently, in 2018, they obtained the Certified Professional Compliance Officer certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and the Orthopaedic Physician Extender - Certified (OPE-C) certification from the American Society of Orthopaedic Professionals (ASOP).
