Richard May

Richard May is the current Chief Legal Officer at Emergia Contact Center, S.L. Richard has previously served as the Director de Asesoría Jurídica Interna at LEGÁLITAS from January 2018 to June 2019, and as the EMEA Legal and Compliance Head at Atento from April 2001 to May 2016.

Richard has extensive experience in legal and compliance matters, and has been responsible for leading the legal departments of both Atento and LEGÁLITAS. Richard has also been instrumental in the design and implementation of compliance programs for both companies, ensuring that they meet all relevant regulatory requirements.

Richard is a skilled attorney with a proven track record of success in managing labour disputes. Richard has also been recognised for their work in improving customer satisfaction levels, and was awarded the Best Legal Advisory Service Aptíssimi Award in 2013 by the ESADE Alumni Law Club.

Richard May's educational career includes a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Diploma in Business Law from ICADE, Faculty of Law. Richard also has a Compliance Advanced Program from IE Business School, as well as a Telecomunications, Television and Internet Legal System Development Program from the same school.

Richard May reports to Miguel Matey, CEO. Richard May works with Lorenzo Quintero - Analytical & Business Strategy Director, Ana Ma Ahijado - Director of Business Development, and Evaristo Canete - COO & Director General, Colombia.
