Paul Fronstin

Paul Fronstin is a seasoned expert in health research with extensive experience at the Employee Benefit Research Institute since July 1993, currently serving as Director of the Health Research Program. Fronstin has held various roles within the organization, including Senior Research Associate and Director of the Health Security and Quality Research Program. Additionally, Fronstin contributes as an Advisory Board Member at the University of Michigan Center for Value-Based Insurance Design and as a Board Member at Emeriti Retirement Health Solutions. Past roles include Associate Editor for Benefits Quarterly and service on the Board of Governors for the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions. Fronstin has also been a Board Member for the Maryland Patient Safety Center and a Commissioner at the Maryland Health Care Commission. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Economics from Binghamton University and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
