Gabriel Lee

Gabriel Lee is the current Senior Director and Global Data Protection Officer at Emeritus. Gabriel has also previously worked as the Director of Operations at DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore Pte Ltd, the Director of the South-East Asia Centre at Manchester Business School Worldwide, and as a Coordinator at The Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore.

Lee has been working in the field of education for over 20 years. Gabriel has experience in setting up operations for new campuses, managing student affairs, and building relationships with government bodies, industry, and other educational institutions.

In their current role at Emeritus, Lee is responsible for overseeing data protection and privacy compliance for the company. Gabriel works with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that Emeritus is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Gabriel Lee has an advanced certificate in governance, risk management, and data compliance from Singapore Management University. Gabriel also has an advanced diploma in data protection from the same school. Gabriel has a master's in business administration from The University of Manchester and a bachelor's in commerce from Deakin University. Gabriel has a diploma in programming and system analysis from Singapore Polytechnic - Japan-Singapore Institute of Software Technology. Gabriel also has certification from the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) in Practitioner Certificate in Personal Data Protection (Singapore). Lastly, they have certification from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional - Asia (CIPP/A), and Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E).
