Robert Miller

Trustee at Emerson College

Robert Miller is a trustee at Emerson College. Prior to that, they worked as an armed security contractor with Paragon Systems Inc from October 2012 to February 2014. Robert was responsible for conducting administrative searches of visitors for contraband, weapons and explosives at various buildings, including the O'Neill Federal Building, the McCormack Federal Courthouse, the SSA Building Roxbury, and the Williams Federal Building (USCG). Robert also has experience in foot patrol, X-ray, walk through magnatometer, hand wand magnatometer, camera surveillance systems, pat down search, firearms, OC, baton training.

From March 2004 to August 2016, Miller worked as a service technician for JCDecaux. Robert was responsible for outdoor advertising units in the city of Boston, to include ad posting and glass repair and installation. Robert was also Logan Airport service technician, responsible for maintenance of digital ad units.

From June 2001 to October 2010, Miller served as a Military Police Sergeant in the Army National Guard.

Robert Miller has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections from University of Massachusetts Lowell, an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Bunker Hill CC, and a certification from Stoughton Police in Class A license to carry firearms.
