Sheila Robinson

Sheila Robinson is a Trustee at Emerson College. Sheila was previously the Chief Financial Officer at NYS Homes and Community Renewal from June 2012 to March 2022. Sheila was responsible for Treasury and Accounting Functions at the State's Housing Agency.

Before their time at NYS Homes and Community Renewal, Sheila was the Deputy to the CFO at Empire State Development from May 2009 to May 2012. Sheila worked on financial functions across departmental lines with a focus on debt issuance, budget, project/program funding, subsidiary finance, and portfolio management. During their time at Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC), Sheila worked on financings and debt issuance on behalf of the Corporation, its subsidiaries, Job Development Authority, and LDCs aggregating more than $4.5 billion.

Sheila has experience in financial structuring and analysis, budgeting, and is instrumental in developing the common tracking database for the loans and grants made by the Department of Economic Development and ESDC.

Sheila Robinson holds a BA from Cornell University and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
