Rachel Zendt has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rachel started their career in 1999 as a Broker Services Representative at Agency Development Corporation, where they generated new business quote requests, submitted new business cases, and handled renewal processing for medical and ancillary plans. In 2001, they joined BenefitPort New Jersey (formerly known as Agency Development Corp) as a Large Group Customer Service Rep and Broker of Record Manager, assisting the VP in executing large group RFPs, preparing spreadsheets and binder materials, and providing support during large group meetings. In 2004, they moved to BenefitPort MidAtlantic as a Quality Control Business Developer, training brokers on medical quoting and HR Benefits websites and gathering broker feedback. Rachel later became the Broker Services Manager, managing a team of 10 Broker Service Reps and processing escalated issues for over 800 brokers. In 2007, Rachel joined Emerson Reid as the Manager of Broker Relations, overseeing a team of 15+ Broker Consultants and handling all input of cases into the online commissions management system. Rachel then advanced to the role of Vice President of Operations NJ, managing 25+ Broker Consultants and processing escalated issues for 1000 brokers, as well as handling new business and service relations for health insurance. In 2021, they took on the additional responsibilities of Vice President of Operations NY. Throughout their career, Rachel has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, relationship management, and operational skills.
Rachel Zendt obtained their Health and Life Insurance License from Kovatz Health Insurance in the year 1999. Before that, starting in 1995 and ending in 1999, they attended Elon University where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Human Services and Psychology.
