Deirdre Russell

Deirdre Russell is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within corporate law. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Emerson since September 2019, Deirdre has held multiple senior positions, including Senior Counsel and Senior Contracts Counsel. Prior experience includes working as Corporate Solicitor at John Crane and a Senior Associate at Bowmans, where expertise focused on corporate and construction law. Previous roles also encompass a Senior Associate position at Rio Tinto and Legal Counsel for Emerson Process Management in the UAE. Deirdre began the legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at Ronan Daly Jermyn after obtaining a Bachelor of Civil Law from University College Cork and a Professional Qualification as a Solicitor from the Law Society of Ireland.
