Cam Torres, MD, MBA, CPXP has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations and consulting roles. They started their career in 2007 as an Emergency Physician at Utah Emergency Physicians, LLC and later worked as an Accident & Emergency Consultant at Mid Central District Health Board from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined THSPTeX.com as a Consultant focusing on improving patient experience and satisfaction scores. They utilized knowledge from the human behavioral sciences to drive behavioral change and enhance interpersonal interactions. In 2016, they became the Director of Physician Patient Experience at Emerus Holdings, Inc., where they developed data-driven improvement projects and promoted clinical excellence through educational modules. From 2017 to 2019, Dr. Torres served as a Medical Director at Baylor Scott & White Health. In 2019, they joined Guidepoint as a Consulting Specialist. Currently, they hold the position of Key Opinion Leader at bioMérieux, commencing in 2021.

Cam Torres, MD, MBA, CPXP completed a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences at Arizona State University from 1994 to 1998. They then attended the University of Utah School of Medicine from 1998 to 2002, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In 2002, they completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center. In 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business. Their education journey culminated in achieving certification as a Certified Patient Experience Professional from the Patient Experience Institute in April 2023.
