Dara Hearn

Dara Hearn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in clinical informatics and instructional design. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst at Emerus Holdings, Inc. since April 2023, Dara has also held roles at DHEC as a Senior Consultant for the Cerner EHR System and Training Project Coordinator for EHR implementation. Prior experience includes ownership of Black Box Brain Studios, where engaging, game-based curricula were developed, and several instructional roles at various institutions, including training on software applications and teaching high school students. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations and Systems Management from the University of South Alabama.
