Shawna Sumerlin

Shawna Sumerlin has a diverse work experience in marketing and photography. Shawna started their career as a Marketing & Communications Director at Salvex in 2004 and held this role until 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Brand Manager at Emerus Holdings, Inc., before being promoted to Senior Brand Manager from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they became the Assistant Director of Brand Marketing at Emerus Holdings, Inc., and eventually took on the role of Director of Marketing in 2018. Alongside their marketing career, Shawna also runs their own photography business called Shawna Florida Photography since 2009, specializing in lifestyle, portrait, and event photography.

Shawna Sumerlin obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Production from the University of Houston between the years 2002 and 2007. Shawna also holds a certification as a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent from the Texas Real Estate Commission, which was obtained in the year 2021.
