Tim Bishop

Tim Bishop is a highly experienced leader and senior social care professional with over 40 years of experience, including more than a decade in NHS Director and local authority Assistant Director roles. Currently, Tim serves as a board member for emh group and holds positions as a non-executive director for Manx Care and Optalis, along with chairing the board at St Martin Of Tours Housing Association. Tim has a strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting individuals, demonstrated through various advisory and management roles, including as an Independent Safeguarding Adults advisor for the Church of England. Tim's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Social Work from the University of East London and a postgraduate degree in Care, Policy, and Management from London Metropolitan University.
