Gorka Vigara de Otazu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Gorka is currently the SVP Latam at Falck, where they oversee consumer healthcare services. Prior to this, they served as the Group CEO at Grupo Emi. From 2019 to 2021, Gorka was the CEO of Seguros Falabella Colombia. Before that, they held roles at Banco Falabella Colombia, including Chief Commercial Officer and Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development. At Banco Falabella, they achieved significant growth in credit card and debit card purchases, developed strategic partnerships with key companies, and expanded the merchant-acquiring side of the payment cards business. Gorka also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and worked as an Associate at McKinsey & Company. Gorka began their career as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture, where they gained extensive experience in various industries. Gorka co-founded Goodchic and also served as a lecturer at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Gorka Vigara de Otazu obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship and General Management from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business between 2013 and 2015. Gorka also has a Master's degree in Science as an Industrial Engineer from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, which they completed from 2002 to 2007. Gorka's education started with Bachillerato de Ciencias at Colegio Suizo de Madrid from 1988 to 2002.
