Gabriela Gonzalez has expertise in primary care transformation and public health. She has managed the adoption of innovative data-driven and transformation initiatives as well as collaborative partnerships at the local, state, and federal levels. Gabriela has a strong background in health education and promotion, project management, quality improvement, clinical outcomes analysis, and population health management.
Gabriela earned her Master of Applied Science (MAS) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and has a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Rutgers University - Edward Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. She also has a Practice Facilitator Certificate from Buffalo’s University School of Public Health and Health Professions. Before joining the EMI team, Gabriela worked in community health and supported Federally Qualified Health Centers in New York state for 10 years.
Outside of work, Gabriela is a person who loves food and is very interested in different types of cuisine. She also enjoys spending time with her family in the United States and Ecuador.
