Robert Zecchini

Robert Zecchini has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to information security and technology. Robert currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Emigrant Bank, where they are responsible for ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of customer, employee, and business information. Prior to this, they held positions such as Director of Information Security, Supervisor Sr. Engineer, Information Security, Security Architect/Sr. Engineer, Information Security, Novell Architect, and Novell Engineer at Emigrant Bank. Before joining Emigrant Bank, Zecchini worked at Dollar Dry Dock/Emigrant Bank as a Telecommunications professional and at AT&T as a Technician Assistant. Robert also served in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician, where they received an honorable discharge and commendations for their work in maintaining computer systems for Grumman F14 jet fighters.

Robert Zecchini completed their education in the US Navy from 1980 to 1984, where they pursued a degree in Aviation Electronics Technician. During this time, they specialized in Advanced Computer Science F-14 Tomcat. Additionally, in June 2019, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from the (ISC)² institution.
