Fiona Fernandes

Fiona Fernandes has extensive experience in the Human Resources field. Fiona began their career as an HR Coordinator at Oil&Gas Co in 1997, where they worked until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they served as an HR Executive at MatthewsDaniel Services. Fiona then joined Al Khazna Insurance as a Section Head of Human Resources from 2004 to 2006. Fiona then worked as an HR Supervisor at Al Jaber Energy Services from 2006 to 2007. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Human Resources at Emirates Insurance Company.

Fiona Fernandes completed their education at various institutions. Fiona attended the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, UK from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained an Associate degree in Personnel Practice with a focus on HR. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Mumbai from 1998 to 2001 and earned a Bachelor's degree in HRD, Economics & Accounting.

In addition to their formal education, Fiona Fernandes has obtained various certifications. Fiona completed the course "REDESIGNING Work and The Workplace" at Hacking HR in October 2022. In October 2021, they received a certification in Crisis Communication for HR from LinkedIn. Fiona also holds the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, which they earned in July 2021. Finally, they obtained an Associate CIPD certification from CIPD in February 2014.
