Zia Islam

Zia Islam is an experienced banking executive with a career spanning over three decades in various leadership roles across prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Governance at Emirates Islamic since September 2008, Zia has previously held positions such as Head of Governance & Business Analytics and Senior Vice President at the same institution. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President and Head of Multichannel & Customer Experience at Dubai Islamic Bank, and leadership positions at Mashreq Bank, Citi, and Standard Chartered Bank. Zia's academic background includes a recent executive program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Pace University.
