Daniel Gidney

Daniel Gidney serves as the CEO of Lancashire County Cricket Club since November 2012, overseeing a multi-million-pound sports and leisure business at the prestigious Emirates Old Trafford venue. Prior to this role, Daniel was the CEO of the Ricoh Arena from September 2006 to October 2012, a complex that includes a stadium, indoor arena, convention center, hotel, and casino. Additionally, Daniel contributed as a board member for the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership, chairing the Skills and Employability Group and Tourism Taskforce. Earlier experience includes serving as Divisional Managing Director Hospitals at Sodexo, handling a £100 million turnover division, and holding the position of Director of Ticketing at Live Nation, leaders in entertainment venue management. Daniel holds an MBA from Durham University and a BA in Business Studies from Anglia Ruskin University.
