Everardo Sanchez Banuet has extensive experience in commercial and sales roles in the building materials industry. Everardo began their career in 1998 at CEMEX, where they held various positions including Regional Sales Director and Vice President Commercial for the Distribution Segment. Everardo was responsible for sales operations, marketing strategy, and the implementation of the "One CEMEX Commercial Model." Everardo also led the Commercial Development Global Initiative, focusing on market development and value proposition. In 2016, they joined INSEE Vietnam as Chief Commercial Officer before transitioning to their current role as Vice President Commercial - Building Materials at Emirates Steel Arkan in 2024.

Everardo Sanchez Banuet has a diverse educational background. In 1995, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering with a focus on Biomedical Instrumentation from the Instituto Tecnologico de Mexicali. Everardo went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Electronics with a specialization in Instrumentation & Control from CICESE - Centro de Investigación Cientifica y de Estudios Superiores de Ensenada, which they completed between 1996 and 1998. In 2001 and 2002, Everardo obtained an MBA degree in Global eManagement from various universities including Copenhagen Business School, Erasmus University, Reykjavik University, ESADE Barcelona, University of Denver, and EGADE Monterrey. Lastly, in 2007, they attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business program, INSEAD, and ITESM, earning an Executive Program in International Management. In addition to their formal education, Everardo has obtained several certifications, including Speak to Inspire from Stand & Deliver Group in 2014 and Ambassador Certification and Sandler Selling System in 2014 and 2013 respectively from Sandler Training.
