Tanya Eddowes has extensive experience in safety management and training within the aviation industry, currently serving as the Manager of Safety Standards, Promotion, and Training at Emirates since July 2008. In this role, Tanya directs the Regulatory Safety Promotions Programme and leads a team to ensure compliance for over 50,000 employees while managing a budget exceeding $2 million USD. Tanya has a proven track record in designing safety strategies, overseeing training compliance, and implementing extensive safety training initiatives. Prior to Emirates, Tanya held various project management positions in educational and training organizations, accumulating significant expertise in developing digital training solutions and managing large teams across diverse sectors. Tanya's educational credentials include a diploma in Safety Management Systems from IATA, a Diploma of Education, a Bachelor of Education from Massey University, and ongoing studies in leadership and safety investigations.
