Michelle Butler

Michelle Butler has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michelle currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at EMIT Technologies, Inc., a position they have been in since November 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President of Talent and Communications at the same company. Michelle also worked as the Public Relations Manager at EMIT Technologies from July 2019 to November 2019.

Before joining EMIT Technologies, Michelle worked at Cloud Peak Energy, where they held the role of Manager of Public Affairs and Community Relations from July 2017 to June 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Media Communications Representative II from December 2012 to July 2017, where they managed internal corporate communications strategies and programs.

Michelle also has experience working in the financial services industry, having served as a Registered Client Associate at Wells Fargo Advisors from July 2011 to December 2012. Additionally, they worked as an Associate Agent at Farm Bureau Financial Services from July 2009 to July 2011.

Earlier in their career, Michelle served as a Field Assistant for US Senator John Barrasso from May 2008 to July 2009, where they represented the senator in the northern region of Wyoming. Michelle also had an internship role at the HELP Committee in 2007.
