Tom Brooks

Tom Brooks is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in particle physics and nuclear non-proliferation research. Currently employed at Emitwise since April 2023, Tom previously held positions at Applied Blockchain and The University of Sheffield, focusing on software engineering and postdoctoral research. Notably, Tom served as Release Manager for the Short-baseline near detector, managing over 150 software releases and developing expertise in version control and continuous integration. Tom's academic credentials include a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics from The University of Sheffield and an MPhys in Physics from The University of Manchester.
