Mark McLelland has over 19 years of experience in the engineering industry. From 2018 to present, they have been the President/CEO of Emmert Welding and Manufacturing, a custom parts manufacturer specializing in thermal sprays, machined and welded assemblies, assembly fabrication and reverse engineering obsolete parts. Prior to this, they worked at Rockwell Collins as the Director of Program Management, where they led a team of program managers developing systems and equipment in the oxygen portion of the aerospace industry. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at B/E Aerospace as the Director of Program Management and New Product Development, Engineering Manager, leading integrated project teams through the execution of oxygen systems development in the commercial and military aviation industry. Additionally, they held positions at Prier Products, Fike Corporation, and Gates Rubber Company as a research, development, and engineering manager, new product development engineer, and manufacturing support engineer, respectively. Overall, their experience focuses on budget management, technical recruitment and on-boarding, personnel development, proposal cost analysis/management, and overall program leadership for development projects in the aerospace and defense industry.
Mark McLelland obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from John Brown University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Mark further pursued their education and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Management from the University of Arkansas Grantham which they completed from 2009 to 2012.
