Darby Thompson

Darby Thompson is the current President of Emmes Canada. Darby has over 20 years of experience in the biostatistics field, working both as a consultant and within private industry. Darby has a strong background in study design, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and statistical programming. Darby also serves on a number of clinical trial DSMBs. Prior to their current position, Darby was the Quality Assurance Officer at The EMMES Corporation for 10 years. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's Quality Management Plan, authoring Standard Operating Procedures, conducting independent audits, vendor qualification, and management of the corporate training program. Darby's experience and expertise make their an excellent leader and an asset to Emmes Canada.

Darby Thompson earned a PhD in Statistics from Simon Fraser University, an MS in Statistics from Simon Fraser University, and a BS in Statistics from The University of British Columbia.

Darby Thompson works with Peter Dawson - SVP, Biostatistics, Jennifer Hester - CHRO, and Joe Sliman - Chief Medical Officer. Darby Thompson reports to Christine Dingivan, President & CEO.
