William A. Brosius

William A. Brosius has 35 years of experience in the financial operations of health care organizations. His current role is vice president of finance of Methodist Health System's Southlake Medical Center, where he is responsible for the overall financial operations of the facility. He has an extensive financial and operational background in for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and sub-acute and long-term acute care facilities. Brosius’s expertise includes joint ventures, financial turnarounds, interim management, acquisition analyses, feasibility studies, productivity, strategic planning, and budgeting.

Prior to Methodist, Brosius was senior vice president of University of Maryland Medical System's Capital Region Health and was vice president and chief financial officer for Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston. Brosius served as senior financial consultant with the Lane Group, a boutique health care consulting firm. Upon graduating from Emory’s Goizueta Business School in 1985, Brosius began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Atlanta. In addition to his service on the Board of Trustees, Brosius also serves on the Emory Healthcare Board of Directors and is vice chair of the Patient Quality Committee. Additionally, he serves on the Emory + Children's Pediatric Institute Board and the St.. Francis Holding Company, LLC JV Board, a joint venture between Emory and LifePoint Health.

He was elected trustee in 2015.
